We have accredited Energy Assessors that can undertake Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates or Reports.

Article 12 of Directive 2010/31/EU on the Energy Performance of Buildings requires that, when buildings or building units are constructed, sold or rented out, an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or a copy thereof is shown to the prospective new tenant or buyer and handed over to the buyer or new tenant. This measure was implemented in 2008 and the certificates have a valid life of 10 years.

Mabbett’s EPC Services

We have accredited Energy Assessors that can undertake Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates or Reports.

Services include:

  • Undertake a site evaluation to cover all areas for which an EPC will be produced;
  • Collate relevant information to allow calculation of building performance, such as considering building fabric and the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services in each area;
  • Generation of an EPC using building modelling software;
  • Provide an A4 sized EPC for display within the building; and
  • Lodge the completed EPC on the national EPC Register.
