Integrated Management Systems – Thinking BIG – Business Improvement and Growth

21st August 2012

Mabbett are running a free breakfast seminar entitled: Integrated Management Systems – Thinking BIG – Business Improvement and Growth, to be held at Hillington Park Innovation Centre on Friday 12th October 2012. Registration will open at 08:30 and there will be tea/coffee and breakfast rolls available on arrival. The event will commence at 09:00 and close at 10:00.

This free informative breakfast seminar is intended to provide delegates from businesses of all sizes with an introduction to Integrated Management Systems (IMS) to include: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and OHSAS 18001 highlighting the benefit of each standard and the value of an integrated management system versus stand-alone systems. This event will also highlight the role of an IMS in business today, whether it be a pre-requisite requirement for your business to win and/or retain work with certain clients or indeed if you are encouraging your suppliers to demonstrate their environmental, health and safety, and/or quality performance through a registered management system.

This breakfast seminar will include a presentation and question and answer session with senior environmental consultant and management systems expert, Geraldine Boylan of Mabbett, followed by case study examples from two SME companies from the local area (Boston Networks and WRC Recycling) who recently have both successfully implemented an IMS. This will help you to identify with the process they have gone through and identify how it has benefited their business.

MEPC will also present on how they promote and achieve environmental sustainability through their approach to management of Hillington Park and their achieving of ISO 14001 certification.
