(old) Community Engagement
All of us at Mabbett recognise how important our local community is to our business. We are committed to investing our resources in supporting those around us on a proactive basis through Community Engagement activities.
We value the community we operate within and are proud to help it truly See a Difference, in exciting, inspiring and humbling ways.
‘See a Difference, Make a Difference’ pledge
As a company we have a ‘See a Difference, Make a Difference’ pledge to support our Community Engagement programme. Our pledge is to provide each and every Mabbett employee with a full day of paid volunteering leave per year to allow them to Make a Difference in their own community.

Women in STEM
We have an in house Women in STEM steering group committed to undertaking activities and supporting initiatives to raise awareness of STEM subjects and a career in STEM. Activities include:
- Engagement with local schools – delivery of talks from our female engineers and scientists to encourage aspiring youth into careers in STEM subjects.
- The Engineering Development Trust Industrial Cadets Programme – mentoring to 13-17 year old’s as they undertake a project to solve a real life challenge faced by industry which helps to develop important life skills and gain a better understanding of STEM.
