Invergordon Tyre Services, a local specialist in tyre and vehicle needs approached Mabbett to design their new premises in an industrial brownfield site on the outskirts of Invergordon. The brief was to design a larger workshop, split into two parts, small vehicles, and lorry bay along with reception, offices, and toilet facilities. The new building would be constructed from steel portal frame with composite metal cladding walls, and photovoltaic array to make use of the large roof area.
Mabbett obtained all necessary local authority consents including Planning Permission and Building Warrant which led to a successful tendering process to allow construction work to commence, and more importantly provide the client with a new building fit for the services they offer.
