Omar Khalid promoted to Group Health & Safety Manager!

During the past 3 years, we have witnessed dramatic growth in our business through the addition of new teammates across a wide range of office locations in the U.K. To continue to support our team as we grow, we are delighted to announce Omar Khalid, CMIOSH MIIRSM CertOH LFOH, has been promoted to Group Health and Safety Manager covering Mabbett, GEP Environmental Ltd and future acquisitions.

Omar has been a trusted professional and colleague over many years, and has witnessed first-hand the growth in our business and our Safety Group. He has successfully led our Health & Safety Team, the implementation of our health and safety management system to OHSAS 18001 and its subsequent transition to ISO 45001, delivered health and safety training to our team, undertaken new staff inductions, and more recently, Chaired our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee. Who better to lead our Group’s internal safety programmes to support our growth? I am delighted to have Omar at the helm in this new role and to be working with him to continue to protect our people.
