Glasgow based Mabbett wins award for International Expansion

Each year the Environmental Business Journal® (EBJ) recognises outstanding business performance in the environmental industry with the EBJ Business Achievement Awards. Mabbett is delighted to announce that we were awarded a 2012 EBJ Business Achievement Award for International Expansion.

Since 2009, Mabbett has implemented a rigorous marketing strategy for international expansion and as such has witnessed its success by an increase in international sales to over 40% of total sales while growing our business by 20% over the 3 years.  This success in business growth was achieved during a period of severe recession in Europe. Key successes for Mabbett included:

• Mabbett winning key framework contracts in Northern Ireland and Wales.
• Mabbett winning key framework contracts with Israel’s Ministry of Environment in partnership with a leading Tel Aviv-based consultancy.
• Mabbett winning a Corporate Purchase Agreement with General Electric.

The 2012 EBJ awards will be presented at a special ceremony at the Environmental Industry Summit XI in Coronado, California, USA on 6-8 March 2013 at which Mabbett shall be attending.
