End of season update for Mabbett-sponsored Cairneyhill Athletic Football Team

It’s been a great season for the Mabbett & Associates Ltd. (Mabbett) sponsored Cairneyhill Athletic 2009s and 2010s, jointly coached by Mabbett EHS Consultant, Kevin Lilly.
The teams played their season’s final fixtures at the Fife Soccer 7s Development Association (FSSDA) League festival on Sunday, and picked up medals for their achievements this season. It’s been a busy season, with both weekly training and fixtures. The boys even managed to squeeze in some extra training with The Pars Foundation, and the 2010 team even got to grace the East End Park pitch (Home of Dunfermline Athletic FC) for a half-time kick-about during a recent SPFL Championship game. No standing still for the boys (or coaches) though – the teams are into winter training now, and start their winter leagues in November.
Kevin commented:
It’s been a great season, the boys have come on tremendously, and we have ‘seen a big difference’ in a relatively short period. We were so pleased for the boys when they picked up their medals at the weekend, and they were all rightly, really proud of themselves, which is great to see.
