European Protected Species Surveys

Our Environment Team can undertake European Protected Species (EPS) surveys for planning applications and construction.

A key component of planning for any development is understanding if it will impact a European Protected Species and during construction to give consideration to the monitoring of sites and their surrounding areas for evidence of protected species.

Our environment team carry out targeted protected species surveys for badger, otter, pine marten and red squirrel. Alongside undertaking preliminary roost assessments for bats, and terrestrial surveys for great crested newts.
