We have an opportunity for a junior level (e.g. graduate, or 1 – 2 years’ experience) Occupational Health & Safety Consultant to join our growing team, to help in the delivery of diverse safety projects for our wide-ranging public and private sector clients. This position is suited to an individual looking to develop their career as a safety & health practitioner. The successful individual will support business and service growth, along with technical delivery of health & safety projects.
The successful candidate will work as a member of the Health & Safety Team and have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects, which may typically include the following:
You will be based at our Glasgow office, however, Mabbett has adopted a hybrid working model and you will be permitted to work from home on some occasions. You will be provided with IT equipment and software/services required to facilitate your efficient home working. The role will include require travel throughout the U.K. and for which company pool cars are available, hence, a valid driving licence will be required. Occasional multi-day site visits will require overnight stays. Occasional travel by air will be required, for which a valid passport and photo ID is required. Our clients are located worldwide but most of your work is likely to be in the U.K. for the foreseeable future. There may also be the opportunity for travel to Europe depending on specific client or project requirements.
